Im excited to get these new SmartTags from Samsung because I really love the older version, The SmartTag+ although the battery life was not amazing as it would only last about 6 months.
The battery life on these is supposed to be well over a year which is exactly the improvement they needed.
On of the biggest welcome changes to this version is the design. After using it for a few days, I like it even more, it is strong easy to use on a key ring and is nice to handle as the hole ring is just large enough to fit over your finger. The integrated button is well implemented and subtle.
With a few other new features like IP67, Lost Mode, battery saver mode and stronger tracking paired with all the previous features of SmartTags of old, I have already used these to find my keys on more than one occasion, these new Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2’s are going to dominate the smart tracking field
